This formula starts as a delicious thick gel that lathers beautifully and removes all traces of sunscreen and makeup while also leaving my skin feeling nourished. It has an ever so slight medicinal scent that I kind of love. It’s safe for sensitive and acne-prone skin. The brand was created by women of color—more specifically, two identical twins from Hong Kong! BUT, the Peptide Lip Boosts are SO GOOD. The formula is thicker and more balmy than the original formulas, and they last on the lips for much longer. There’s a slight tingling sensation for that plumping effect, but it’s not uncomfortable at all. I did a full comparison here. This one is slightly milky and sinks into the skin beautifully and provides an immediate glow. I always incorporate a barrier repair serum in my skincare routine to keep my skin barrier in check, and this one has been lovely. They’re 95% cotton and 5% spandex, which is my perfect fabric combo. It comes in a tonnnn of different colors as well.
