5 Things I Bought and Loved in December
Happy New Year everyone! One of my “resolutions” (I don’t love that word, but alas)—one thing I’m striving to do more of in 2022 is writing more long-form blog content. I really enjoy reading my friends’ blogs and I figured there are people out there like me, so why not continue with the content!
Anyway, ya girl moved in December, so I bought A LOT of things much to my wallet’s chagrin 😖. I posted a reel of some of the things that I bought, which you can watch here. This list is composed of 5 different things, because like I said, I bought a lot.

This Game-Changing USB Wall Charger ($20, Available at Amazon) I ordered 6 of these for my home and I do not regret it one single bit. Your regular-deular wall outlet becomes 6 outlets in one PLUS two USB charging ports. It’s so nice to be able to plug in all my cords in one place. It’s most handy in the kitchen for plugging in all of my appliances, or underneath my desk for all of my chargers. AND did I mention it has a built-in night light?
These High Waisted Pants ($26, available at Amazon) These pants are the epitome of casual meets chic with their relaxed fit, cropped length, and bow knot detailing. I ordered these pants in two colors (gray green & camel) and I’m so impressed with the quality and even more obsessed with how they look on me. They come in a million colors, so you’re sure to find a shade most flattering for you!
This OG Mini Skin Glass Oil & Powder Duo ($28, available at Noorface.com) You all know how much I adore Skin Glass beauty, and when Noor said mini, I jumped right on it. This set contains the original Skin Glass Oil is the most beautiful true gold that looks amazing on all skin tones, and the Skin Glass Powder, which I had never had the pleasure of trying before but have now! Definitely definitely make sure to order from this small, WOC-owned business, because her products are absolutely stunning and worth every single coin.
These Very Chic Gold Hoop Earrings ($16, available at Amazon) One can never have too many gold hoops, and I specifically love the detailing on these mini ones. They’re similar to M*juri hoops but at an affordable price point. Also the quality is incredibly nice. I’ve been wearing them for a while and they’re comfortable and I always get a compliment on them! They come in a few other varieties that I’m dying to order, but I’m trying to maintain some semblance of self-control. For my minimalist girls, you’ll definitely love these!
This Delicious Dark Chocolate Granola ($16, available at Sakara.com) I was introduced to Sakara courtesy of a Supergoop PR mailer I received sometime last year. This granola contains dark cacao, ashwagandha, and Brazil nuts to support focus and energy. I love adding this to my overnight oats, or honestly just eating a handful at a time for a quick snack. It’s sweet, but not too sweet, and as a sugar fiend, this is a great alternative to eating one of my daughter’s sugary snacks 😅.
