Skincare
Eadem Milk Marvel Dark Spot Serum (1 oz for $68) I’ve personally tried a lot of dark spot correcting serums, and this one is definitely up there on the list. It’s a fragrance free, milky serum that sinks in to your skin in no time, and with consistent use will actually provide incredibly results. I used this on an area of hyperpigmentation I had from popping a zit, and in 3-4 weeks the spot had drastically lightened. This serum is a little on the expensive side, so it’s definitely worth picking up during the sale! Eadem is BIPOC and women-owned, which is a win-win in my book.
Korres Santorini Grape Velvet Skin Drink (1.01 oz for $48) I don’t know what it is about this oil, but I’m obsessed with applying it before I apply makeup. It makes my face feel so soft (like velvet) and leaves a natural glow. You only need a drop or two (I mistakenly used a little more one time and my skin was oilier than I would have liked). I don’t often use oils in the morning until it gets a little cooler outside, but I haven’t been able to resist with this one.
Rose Ingleton MD Signature Moisturizer (1.7 oz for $85) I know what you’re thinking—$85 for a moisturizer?! But sometimes you just find the moisturizer that you’re willing to pay a pretty penny for. The Signature moisturizer is it. It has a deliciously rich texture, but it never feels like it’s too much. It’s formulated with Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, Niacinmaide, peptides, and ceramides to ensure lasting hydration and skin protection. Rose Ingleton is a Black dermatologist, and we love supporting Black-owned businesses.
YTTP Mandelic Acid + Superfood Unity Exfoliant (4 oz for $38) I’m not one to sway from my beloved Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant, but there was a lot of hype around this launch, and I was lucky enough to receive it in PR. After using it for the past month, I would definitely repurchase this on my own. A blend of AHA, BHA, and PHAs gently exfoliate and aid in cell turnover, while ensuring retention of hydration in your skin’s natural barrier. I’m thoroughly impressed with every product that I’ve tried of YTTP’s, and this is no exception!
YTTP Superberry Dream Cleansing Balm (3.4 oz for 34) Okay so I’ve only used this for a few days, but this cleansing balm is right up there with my absolute favorite Paula’s Choice Omega+ Cleansing Balm. It effectively picks up all traces of sunscreen, makeup, eyeshadow, and the like and leaves my skin with a tall glass of hydration. The entire Dream line from YTTP is totally worth the coin, in my humble opinion.

Bite Beauty Power Move Hydrating Soft Matte Lipstick ($28) Bite brought back their best-selling lipsticks, which, before the brand went full vegan, was my favorite lipstick formula for the longest time. It took me a while to bite the bullet and try some of the reformulated lipsticks, but I’m happy I did. The shades are pigmented and comfortable—kind of like you’re wearing nothing on your lips. I own the shades Hot Tomato (a bright, cool-toned red), Beetroot (a bold berry), Maple (a deep red wine), and Tannin (a brick red). If you’re in the market for a new lipstick, I highly recommend these.
Danessa Myricks Vision Flush (0.21 oz for $20) Danessa is one of my absolute favorite makeup artists, and her looks speak for themselves. I’ve enjoyed playing with some of her products over the last year and a half. Vision Flush definitely has a learning curve, but the shades are so incredibly pigmented and lasts through the day. Just like ColorFix, Vision Flush can be used for your eyes, cheeks, and lips. I have the shade Sweet Nectar which is a bright coral that I’ve used for a monochromatic lip and cheek look.
Dior Face and Body Foundation (1.6 oz for $40) This was actually on my wishlist from the sale in April, and I finally purchased! There’s a reason why this is all of your faves’ foundations—it’s a medium, buildable formula with a natural, skin like finish that can be used on your face and body. The shade I use (6N) suits me perfectly, and I’m so happy I got my hands on this one. If you’re looking for a new foundation I would recommend looking into this one.
Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette ($45) This is definitely a high-end highlighter palette, but the shades are so versatile, especially on deeper skin tones. I’ve gotten so much use out of the Universal palette, especially while traveling. I won’t lie, the component feels kind of cheap, especially for a Dior palette, but thankfully the shades and how they wear make up for it.
Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint (1.08 oz for $29.50) Skin tints were the moment this summer, and I don’t see the trend disappearing anytime soon. This skin tint is beautiful if you just want incredibly light coverage to even out your skin tone. It’s lightweight, breathable, and impressively long wearing. I had a love/hate moment with it when I first bought it because applying with my fingers and my sponge was not it for me. When I finally applied with a brush, my entire outlook changed. I haven’t stopped reaching for this one since!
Bodycare/Miscellaneous
Bread Beauty Macadamia Nut Hair and Body Oil (1.56 oz for $28) First and foremost, Bread got me with their packaging and their marketing. But their products? Also bomb. I don't use hair oils often enough to justify the purchase of their Hair Oil Everyday Gloss, but when they dropped this one, I had to have it. I mostly use it directly out of the shower and I love the nutty fragrance and how soft it makes my skin. I’ll definitely be using this into the cooler months.
Briogeo Curl Charisma Rice Amino + Avocado Hydrating Mask (8 oz for $36) I think I’ve tried every product in Briogeo’s Curl Charisma line, but this one takes the cake. I use it on wash days and leave it in my hair for 30 mins-1 hour (depending on the show I’m watching 😂) and my hair stays moisturized and my curls are more defined when I’m detangling than when I don’t use this product. Definitely a must have for my curly haired friends.
Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus (1.7 oz for $76) I abused the eff out of this fragrance during the summer, so much so that I made sure I now carry a travel size on me at all times. Personally it’s the nicest floral scent, with key notes of orange blossom and golden amber. It wears so nicely on me throughout the day. Nest fragrances in general are some of my favorites (Indigo and Midnight Fleur being my most used and repurchased), so definitely check out the scent line if you’re in the market for a new scent!
Sunday II Sunday Root Refresh Micellar Rinse (8.1 oz for $31) THIS IS FOR ALL OF MY ACTIVE GIRLS WITH THEIR PROTECTIVE STYLES—YOU NEED THIS IN YOUR LIFE. I actually hate exercising for like a week after I get braids put in, because my scalp gets sweaty and I like to prolong that as long as possible. Not anymore! The Root Refresh Spray makes it easy to “cleanse” the scalp in between washes. It’s basically like a dry shampoo for those with textured hair. Highly highly highly recommend.
Topicals Faded Brightening & Clearing Mist (3.4 oz for $30) I purchased these immediately when they dropped solely out of the love that I have for Topicals. Because I know the Faded Serum has been so effective for my face, I had to get this formula for the body. I’ve used it mostly around my bikini line for stubborn ingrowns after shaving (I need to get lasered once and for all 😩) and it has been a game changer. You only need to spray a little bit, and it’s not at all sticky. It does have a little bit of that Faded serum scent but nothing I can’t handle.
