5 Things I Bought and Loved in January
These jeans that hug in all the right places ($32, available at Na-Kd Fashion) I posted a little bit about my experience with buying jeans on IG, but, long story short—I hate doing it. My body has changed drastically in the last 2 years; I’m way thicker in the hips/thighs area, which I’m all about, I just haven’t been able to find any freaking jeans that I love, ya know? Until, Na-kd came along. These are the perfect high waisted skinny jeans, and they come in 6 different colors (including beige, which I just went back and ordered). The jeans are made from sustainable materials, and you can even buy second-hand if your size is available. They’re currently on sale for 40% off (they’re originally $53 each), so run!
The new Ami Cole Concealers ($24 each, available at Ami Cole) When Ami Cole says jump, I say how high. I was on vacation when they discreetly dropped the new concealers and I raaaaaan back to my laptop so I could order a few shades. I picked up shades Deep 1.5, Deep 1, and Rich 2.5. Deep 1 is a perfect match for my complexion, so I use around the perimeter of my face where I tend to have lingering hyperpigmentation. Rich 2.5 is a shade too dark for me, so I technically could use it as a bronzer, but I’ll probably just wait to use it during the summer. I figured that Deep 1.5 would be the best brightening shade for me, but unfortunately it’s a tinge too dark. If I mix it with my Fenty brightening concealer it works out. With regards to the formula, it’s medium-to-full buildable coverage, with a natural skin finish. It doesn’t set down too quickly so there’s wiggle room to play. The concealer paired with the Skin Enhancing Tint is absolutely gorgeous. 10/10 would recommend.
These stackable rings ($13, available at Amazon) These rings are affordable, the quality is impeccable, and they’re very trendy right now. I’ve accidentally worn them while washing dishes and these shockingly haven’t turned green! Note that “stackable” and “rings” are two separate links, so make sure to check them both out!
This cold brew coffee ($15, available at Amazon) I’ve been trying to cut down on my latte spending, so enter cold brew coffee. This is a new coffee that I’m trying (I'll link my favorite one here), and I’m not mad at it! This is the smooth & sweet blend, and it’s exactly that. You can add more water when it’s brewing for a lighter taste, and less water for a stronger brew. In the morning I’ll add some almond milk and a splash of agave and I’m a happy camper. There’s also a Breakfast blend, an Espresso blend, a Dark & Bold blend, and a Decaf blend—enough coffee to go around for everyone!
This card holder ($12, available at Princess Polly) So I just checked and unfortunately my exact card holder is no longer available, but they do have this white card holder with a modern design that I like too. The quality is outstanding for $12 bucks and it has 6 card slots (front and back) along with an inside holder for cash/single keys/other valuables. It’s certified vegan!
