5 Things I Bought and Loved in March

These pink Marc Fischer sandals ($60, available at DSW) My plan is to embrace and incorporate more color this spring/summer, and these sandals were a no brainer when adding color to my wardrobe. They’re incredibly comfortable—as in I’ve had no problem in wearing them for a full day, and the bright pink just boosts my serotonin levels as soon as I glance down. They’re also available in white and beige, so if you’re looking for a trendy sandal that elevates any outfit, look no further.

This cute cross top that comes in tons of colors ($18, available at Amazon) This halter has a cross design from that adds a cute twist to an otherwise ordinary top. The top has some stretch, but hugs to your body like a glove. It comes in 10 shades, so you’re bound to find a color that compliments your skin tone. I own the lilac purple & the baby blue and I’m obsessed with both of them!

This trendy acrylic bag ($75, available at Project 2000) I’m content with the fact that I’ll probably never own a real Birkin, but a girl can dream, right? In the meantime, this bag is soooo quality. I’ve never owned a clear bag before, but it’s something that I never knew I needed, thanks to the influence of @janeebarbre. The size is perfect for my everyday essentials, and I get so many compliments every time I’m out with it. Project 2000 is a Black-owned boutique, and they’ve got tons of other cute ass pieces (bags, jewelry, etc.) Be sure to check them out!

Supergoop! Every.Single.Face Watery Lotion SPF 50 ($34, available at Sephora and Supergoop!) I’m on Supergoop’s PR list but I literally could not wait to try this before it arrived at my house so I grabbed it at Sephora on the day it launched. I never ever wanna hear from the girls that they can’t find a sunscreen that they like. This is it. It’s the perfect texture, it’s undetectable on the skin, and it leaves you with the most ethereal glow. Y’all need to be wearing (and reapplying) your SPF everyday—I guarantee you’ll add this one to your favorites list.

Bamboo Coconut Shea body butter ($28, available at hanahana beauty) Summer is coming which means I’m trying to be moisturized and glistening all season long. This limited edition (!!!) Bamboo Coconut scent is sweet & refreshing, and keeps my skin nourished all day long. It’s not too a heavy body butter and sinks into your skin quite literally like butter, and will have your skin glowing to the gods. If you haven’t tried hanahana shea butters, I highly highly suggest you look into them! And make sure to cop this scent before it’s gone 👀. And shop Black owned always.
