Skincare
Eadem Cloud Cushion Plush Moisturizer with Ceramides + Peptides (1.69 fl oz for $58) This is Eadem’s second product launch, after their Milk Marvel Dark Spot Serum (of which I am on my second bottle). I had extremely high expectations for how this moisturizer performed and it does not disappoint. Cloud Cushion is aptly named, as a moisturizer that deeply moisturizes and repairs your skin’s moisture barrier “so it’s on cloud nine.” It’s formula boasts peptides, ceramides, and snow mushroom to reveal velvety, bouncy skin. It will instantly give you a dewy glow without being sticky or tacky, and wears beautifully underneath makeup—no pilling experienced here. The glass component itself screams luxury, and will look gorgeous on your vanity.
Inkey List Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser (5 oz for $10.99) This is a lightly foaming cleanser with 2% salicylic acid, zinc compound, and allantoin that aims to unclog pores, reduce excess oil, and soothe and balance your skin. Made for those with normal, combination, and oily skin, it’s a great and gentle second cleanse at a great price point.
Korres Santorini Grape Poreless Skin Cream (1.35 oz for $36) Ok — if you follow me on social, you’ll know that I am absolutely head over heels obsessed with the Korres Santorini Grape Velvet Skin Drink (which is currently OOS at Sephora, sorry 😩). When they dropped the moisturizer to pair with it, I had to try it, and I am so glad that I did. This feels incredibly luxe on the skin; it has a gel-texture but feels thicker than your average gel cream. It does immediately sink into your skin and makes it feel incredibly soft. It combats excess oil with salicylic acid, minimizes the appearance of pores with Santorini grape extract, and deeply hydrates with hyaluronic acid. It does claim to “mattify” skin, which I don’t really think happens when I apply it, personally. All in all, I’m thoroughly impressed with the two products that I’ve tried from Korres.
Paula’s Choice CLINICAL Discoloration Repair Serum (1 oz for $48) This is another product that targets and lightens my hyperpigmentation as well as Topicals Faded does. It contains tranexamic acid, bakuchiol, and niacinamide to visibly lighten and protect against future hyperpigmentation. I use this specifically where dark spots are more visible, around my chin and I have a stubborn dark spot on my nose that has been drastically diminished thanks to this serum. PC products have never steered me wrong, and I’m glad that they created a serum specifically to target discoloration.
Summer Fridays Dream Oasis Deep Hydration Serum (1 oz for $44) The newest launch from Summer Fridays boasts intense hydration and glowing skin in a bottle. I am incredibly impressed with how much I love this serum, with it’s jelly texture that sinks in almost immediately and leaves my skin smooth and radiant. I used this specifically when I was in Colorado where I knew my skin would be drier than usual, and this was like a godsend. It’s definitely a little pricey for what it is, so if you’re considering buying it, this is definitely the time to do so.
Supergoop Every. Single. Face. Watery Lotion SPF 50 (1.7 oz for $34) Supergoop! is one of my favorite sunscreen brands and consistently produces bangers that make it easy and fun to ensure that people wear their SPF. This simple formula is for every single face, every skin tone and type, with a sun protection factor of 50. It leaves your skin looking dewy and there is absolutely no sign of white cast. If you’re the type of person who hates how sunscreen smells, or how it feels on your skin, I would definitely urge you to try this formula.
Makeup
Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Medium Coverage Foundation with Hyaluronic Acid (1 oz for $44) This is my first CT makeup product (other than the setting spray, see below) and I was blown away by how much I loved it. I got shade-matched (correctly!!!!) in Sephora, and immediately did a try on once I got home. I used both a sponge and a brush and I prefer using a brush, as I do with most of my foundations. The finish is natural and can be built up to full coverage. Check out this reel of my try-on! I wear shade 14 Neutral for reference.
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray (1.1 oz for $20) I bought a mini-set of two on an impulse during the last Sephora sale after seeing so many of my peers rave about it, and it is truly worth the hype. It gives a radiant, skin like finish, and is the most-transfer proof setting spray that I’ve tried in a while (it barely comes off with a mask). My base stays absolutely flawless for hours on end. I will definitely be buying a bigger size after I finish my minis!
Makeup Forever HD Skin Undetectable Longwear Foundation (1.01 oz for $43) This was another hit foundation for me, and also my first MUFE base product which is absolutely wild. The lightweight formula blends like a dream, with medium buildable coverage and a true skin like, flawless finish. It also holds up throughout the day without breaking up or making me look like a grease pit. I wear shade 4N68 Coffee for reference.
Merit Signature Lip Lightweight Lipstick ($26) I didn’t know what to expect from the new Merit lipsticks, as this was my first product that I’ve tried from the brand. It’s a lipstick, that feels as comfortable as a balm, and comes in 8 gorgeous shades that range from pinks to oranges to browns. You can build up the pigment to make it as subtle or as bold as you wish. I personally have the shades Tiger (received in PR), L’avenue, and 1990 and I love all three of them. The component itself feels weighty and luxe, and I love the gold details. I posted a reel of my try on of Tiger which you can watch here, and I plan on picking up the shade Cabo during the sale.
Bodycare/Miscellaneous
Bread Beauty Cooling Greens Exfoliating Scalp Serum (1.7 oz for $28) I rely on a scalp serum to use when I have braids in, which is always 😂 and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying this one from Bread. As a Black-owned brand, I tend to trust them a little more when it comes to my hair, and this scalp serum is exactly what I look for in a product. It cools on contact, keeps my scalp hydrated, and smells like mint as a bonus.
Nécessaire The Deodorant Gel with 5% AHA (1.7 oz for $15) This will be the only deodorant I use for the rest of my life. I have both unscented and eucalyptus and I love them both. The gel contains mandelic acid, niacinamide, and witch hazel water to prevent odor, brighten discoloration, and smooth bumps. It’s such a luxurious addition to something as mundane as deodorant.
Topicals High Roller Ingrown Hair Tonic (1.7 oz for $26) It was refreshing having Topicals come out with a product for a problem a lot of us face but barely any of us address. I use this mostly in my bikini area and I’ve noticed a drastic difference since starting to use it. It’s about to be bikini season babyyy and Topicals has me covered!
