It’s not often that I’m blown away by a new cleanser. This formula starts as a delicious thick gel that lathers beautifully and removes all traces of sunscreen and makeup while also leaving my skin feeling nourished. It has an ever so slight medicinal scent that I kind of love. It’s safe for sensitive and acne-prone skin. The brand was created by women of color—more specifically, two identical twins from Hong Kong! Highly recommend trying this out if you’re in the market for a new cleanser.
I, unfortunately, am not a huge fan of the OG Peptide Lip Tints & Treatments. BUT, the Peptide Lip Boosts are SO GOOD. The formula is thicker and more balmy than the original formulas, and they last on the lips for much longer. There’s a slight tingling sensation for that plumping effect, but it’s not uncomfortable at all. I did a full comparison here. Highly suggest trying the Sugarmint scented one if you’re deciding between the two.
My skin has been really enjoying products with ectoin, and this serum was no different. This one is slightly milky and sinks into the skin beautifully and provides an immediate glow. I always incorporate a barrier repair serum in my skincare routine to keep my skin barrier in check, and this one has been lovely. It’s also on the more affordable side ($17, as compared to Paula’s Choice 7% Ectoin Hydrating Serum at $44).
Noyz came out with the newest innovation in fragrance, and I have been going feral over it. The brand graciously sent me the scent Unmute, and this layers beautifully with the Unmute fragrance, and with Only Human. I can’t wait to pick up more scents to layer with.
I’m such a sucker for a good basic, and Old Navy (& Gap) make some of my absolute favorites. I’ve been buying the First Layer Scoop Neck Tanks for years, specifically in the Calla Lilly white shade because it’s just the absolute best white tank top at a great price point. They’re 95% cotton and 5% spandex, which is my perfect fabric combo. It comes in a tonnnn of different colors as well. Regular price is $10, but they’re often on sale for $7.
These jeans have been on my wishlist for ages, so when I got the notification that they were on sale for almost half off I finally bit the bullet. And I’m so glad I did. I’ve been finding excuses to wear these just because they look so damn good on me. The barrel leg is so flattering on me, and I don’t have a wash of denim like this in my collection. These are the perfect spring to summer wash!
I’ve been having the best time adding small decor touches to our new home, and one thing I absolutely love is fresh flowers. BUT I did scour the internet looking for some faux hydrangeas (my favorite flower) that I could keep on our entryway table, and these had over 20k positive reviews. When I tell you these are the softest, most real looking flowers I’ve ever seen?! I’m over the moon about these, and I’ve even been fooling house guests into thinking they’re real.
Another fabulous find were these glass reed diffusers that look like decor themselves. It’s such a beautiful piece that always catches the eyes of my guests.
