July Favorites ❤️‍🔥

It’s been a minute since I’ve published here (life, yaknow?), but July was a good month and I have so many good things that were too good not to share. So keep reading & enjoy!

I’ve been looking for outfits to wear for Sip n Slay NYC in a few weeks and I stumbled upon this neutral tube dress that has the most flattering silhouette. I wore it out to dinner on Miami Beach and it was so comfortable, and I got a few compliments because of the back cut-out detailing. I paired it with one of my new favorite bags from JW PEI. The bag holds way more than you think it would, which makes it perfect for nights out. You can watch my unboxing video of this bag here.

Speaking of bags, I was completely influenced to buy the Longchamp Le Pliage Cosmetic Pouch, and although I want more shades, the one I wanted most was navy. It’s so chic and fits so much! Something about a mini bag always gets me lol. You can watch my unboxing video here.

Next, let’s get into body care. I have been loving combining Topicals’ Slather Exfoliating Body Serum with Byoma’s Nourishing Body Oil post-shower for all the glow while working on evening out my skin tone. Note that because Slather has exfoliating properties, whenever I expected to go out into the sun I made sure to add SPF everywhere I applied Slather before leaving the house.

Moving on to something a little different, but I’ve been hyperfixating on this spicy shrimp pasta recipe that I just had to share with SOMEONE. It takes like 30 minutes to make, the flavor palette is insaaaane and I’ve made it twice in one week because it was just too good. Please let me know if you try it, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I have been a champion of Moodeaux since they launched, and I consider the Worthy EDP to be my signature scent. But baby when I got Brand New in the mail? I couldn’t believe how quickly I fell in love with it. It’s the perfect summer scent in a bottle; light and delicious with notes of pink pepper, yuzu, and coconut. I have been wearing it non stop with no plans to stop soon 😅.

I’ve been to a few events and dinners this month which called for a full face of makeup. However, the heat has been absolutely stifling so I had to make sure I powdered and set appropriately to make sure my makeup didn’t budge. And of course, I relied on my Miami weather trio: the One/Size Ultimate Blurring Powder, the One/Size On Til Dawn Mattifying Spray and the Fenty Beauty Invisimatte Blurring Powder. All 100% necessities for long-lasting makeup.

I don’t know about you but the Rhode Pocket Blushes have been all over my timeline, and although I don’t consider most of the shades to work with my skin tone, I have been wearing Toasted Teddy basically every day since I received it in PR. It’s the most beautiful sun-kissed bronze shade on my skin tone. It’s so pigmented but blends beautifully, and it lasts a decent amount of the day before fading.

And last but not least, Kulfi launched their Lassi Lip Staining Oils and they are such a gorgeous product. They apply like a comfortable lip oil and then dry down to a gorgeous stain that doesn’t flake or budge (for at least a few hours on my count). The shades themselves are neutral and bold to appeal to all tones, but I’ve been gravitating most towards Lucky Lotus (magenta), First Sari (berry), and Black Cherry (deep red brown). If you’re looking for a lip stain that is not drying with gorgeous shades, I would definitely look into these!

& that’s everything for July! If you’re reading this, shoot me a DM and you’ll be entered into a mystery giveaway ❤️‍🔥. Love y’all!
